Living with advanced cancer has become possible for longer these days with advancements in cancer treatment. Living well matters too. At this stage, palliative care alongside the oncologists in helping those living with advanced cancer, through guidance on considering priorities and what matters in life while still pursuing treatment and symptom management.

Care may be delivered through outpatient consultations or coordinated hospital-based services, depending on your needs.
Whilst working closely with the oncologist, the palliative care team collaborates with the palliative care providers in the community for a seamless continuity and support at home. This includes symptom management in the convenience and comfort of being at home. They are readily accessible in times of need. This can also be an opportune time where one can take the time to think through important and meaningful conversations in planning life priorities and preferences with loved ones.
Going through this transition can be overwhelming at times. The multidisciplinary team from the community will be there for you to cope with the psycho-emotional, spiritual, and caregiving needs when one needs more support.
