OncoCare’s commitment to excellence was recognised with several awards in 2022, including the Philanthropy Award for Children’s Cancer Foundation of Singapore, the GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific Award, and the Expat Living Readers’ Choice Awards for the Best Cancer Specialist in Singapore.
In 2020, OncoCare launched the “Bright Future Move 2020” initiative, donating $100,000 to the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. This initiative underscores our commitment to giving back to the community.
In 2019, we opened another centre at Mount Elizabeth Orchard and became the first independent private cancer centre to be awarded the Singapore Quality Class with Service.
OncoCare was honoured to be awarded the 2018 Enterprise 50 Award, only for the top 50 SMEs in Singapore. Our centre was recognized for its exceptional service and contributions to the medical field.
In 2017, OncoCare opened another centre at Gleneagles Medical Centre and launched the first women’s cancer clinic in Singapore, “OncoCare Women’s Cancer Clinic,” at Mount Elizabeth Novena Medical Centre.
OncoCare Cancer Centre also sponsored the Singapore Junior Squash Open tournament.
In 2015, OncoCare established the “OncoCare Medical Bursary” for needy students at the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. We relocated our clinic at Mount Elizabeth Novena Medical Centre to a larger unit and expanded further by opening another centre at Mount Alvernia Hospital.
In 2014, we consolidated two centres at Gleneagles Medical Centre, moving into a larger unit to better serve our patients. We also relocated our clinic at Mount Elizabeth Orchard to a bigger, more advanced facility.
OncoCare continued its growth trajectory in 2012 by opening another centre at Mount Elizabeth Novena Medical Centre.
By 2011, OncoCare had grown further, opening a new centre at Mount Elizabeth Orchard Medical Centre.
In 2008, OncoCare opened an additional centre at Gleneagles Medical Centre, expanding our capacity to serve patients.
In 2007, Dr Tay Miah Hiang and Dr Peter Ang founded OncoCare Cancer Centre at Gleneagles Medical Centre, marking the beginning of a dedicated service to cancer patients in Singapore.
